Chicago in the 1930s was a city of hard edges and hidden rooms—steel, smoke, jazz, polished shoes and a nightlife that refused to disappear. Prohibition had ended in 1933, but the atmosphere it created lingered in the city's cocktail lounges, back rooms and after-dark mythology.
Chicago · The 1930s is a dark, smoky fragrance with a distinctly urban edge. Cedarwood and worn leather meet tobacco, dry patchouli and warm amber, while a restrained touch of aged spirit adds depth rather than sweetness. Beneath it all, smoky woods and a cool, almost mineral edge evoke cold pavement, hot metal and the faint trace of something burned in the air.
